Grocers
| The majority of the food that we consume is purchased from grocery stores, a convenient place where all types of provisions are in one location. Many of the grocers in the Willamette Valley are opting to market local food, but definitions of local vary depending on the store and the type of product that is labeled. For some stores, local is the Willamette Valley, but more often it is defined as a political region such as the Pacific North West (Oregon, Washington, and Idaho), or the West Coast (Washington, Oregon, and California), or just Oregon. Labeling may also not be consistent throughout the store as there are sometimes different purchasers for produce as for the rest of the merchandise. This issue is not to detract from the important role that grocers have in procuring the local food, making it available to a broader audience. | Se compra la mayoría de la comida que se consume en las tiendas, lugares convenientes donde todos los tipos de comida están en un lugar.
