Bon Appétit
The Willamette University campus has been blessed to have Bon Appétit Management Company as their food service. Operating three cafés on campus as well as a catering service, general manager Marc Marelich, assistant manager Chris Linn, and executive chef Paul Lieggi along with a team of talented and dedicated cooks, chefs and servers provide not only food for University faculty, staff and students, but also state capital workers and Salem community members.

This team of foodies has a commitment that goes beyond quality food and service, as they strive to decrease their carbon footprint, reduce waste, promote nutritional eating, and educate customers about the food they are eating. They are also highly involved with purchasing local food and supporting farmers in the Willamette Valley. Their Farm-to-Fork program aims to purchase seasonal and regional ingredients from a 150-mile radius. The Bon Appétit Management Company at Willamette University provides an excellent example of how food services can support local food and the local community.
